Frequently Asked Questions about Branding Projects
What logo files do I get with a branding project?
3 logo variations (primary layout, secondary layout, and simple icon)
Logo file types: png, jpg, & eps (vector) for both print and web
All logo files are images, meaning you will not need to purchase any fonts to use your logos.
You now own all your logos and can reuse them forever and ever on anything you want.
What exactly is a Visual Identity System?
Ah, our favorite question! The VIS is your secret weapon when it comes to keeping things on-brand after your branding project is complete. All Visual Identity Systems from our studio include the following:
20+ page digital PDF, connecting your brand's personality to a design system.
Font suggestions to use on things like Powerpoint, your website, letterheads, social media, and more. We try to choose Google fonts for each client since these are easy to use and free for both print and web!
If we aren't able to source a free font, we'll choose fonts that you would need to purchase on your own.
Prototype mockups of your logo in use on things like a website homepage, stationery, and collateral items relevant to your business.
These images are for your Visual Identity System only and may not be pulled from the PDF to use on things like your website, posters, etc.
Example: Let's say you wanted to use the wrapped sandwich mockup on page 12 for a promotional poster advertising your shop’s new sandwich. You would need to purchase the rights from us to use that specific image beyond the intent we provided. The image may be used as an example to demonstrate to a print shop how to print a sandwich wrapper, but the image may not be used outside of a simple reference point within the confines of the VIS.
